Mandarin Perch

Since early 2024, Blue Ocean Aquaculture Technology (BOAT) has successfully introduced Mandarin perch, also known as Chinese perch, into our state-of-the-art indoor aquaculture farm in Singapore.

Mandarin perch (Siniperca chuatsi) is one of China's most highly prized freshwater fish. As a carnivorous species, it begins feeding on live fish shortly after hatching. Its exceptionally fine scales and high sensitivity to water quality make it one of the most challenging fish to culture successfully. Maintaining pristine water quality and providing premium nutrition are essential to raising healthy fish of the highest quality.
